I had reload this site from scratch since last site failed on me. I had a few accounts setup but was unable to rescue them before the crash. I hope that all the information that was entered prior to the crash is recovered since I back up this site twice a month.

I have started to add media to this site and as I attach more and more Pictures, I come across pictures with no lables. If anyone has information about the pictures and would like to share please contact me.

Hemingway name

While tracking the Hemingway line in my family I have come across many variations of the name.
In my case Hemenway, Heminway, Hemingway and Hemynway. At first I thought that I might be tracing the wrong ancestors, but then I came accross this:

I guess that the name variations happened frequently and also depend on there the origin of your line was.
The name has two parts: \"Hemming\" or \"Heiming\" based on \"heim\" or \"home\" and \"way\" or \"path\". So any person that lived on a \"home way\" could have been a Hemmingway?
Are there many Hemingways that are not related at all?

Any help or more information is appreciated!
